2-Week Insanity Summer Shakedown

On-site: 2-Week workout, Mon through Fri, 7-8pm each day. Includes group Insanity workout, 10 packs of Shakeology to replace one meal a day for 10 days, before and after measurements and photos, meal plans, BeachBody/WOWY account (for chance to win $ and prizes from BeachBody), and prizes. Half a workout?

Do you have some home video workouts that are collecting dust?  One of the reasons I used to let mine collect dust was because I was afraid of the “one-hour-workout.”

What if you got those videos out, and just did HALF of the workout, 3-5 times a week?  Don’t you think you’d still see results?  And if you were working out, punching, kicking, running, dancing, and ENJOYING it, maybe, just maybe, you won’t even know how much time has passed.  If doing half of a workout will keep you working out all week, then you’ve at least started moving, and you’re building a habit.  Once that habit is set in motion, and you start seeing results, you’ll want to build on those workouts, and finish the whole thing.

Go ahead. Try it.  Just do half of a workout!

Go outside!

When the weather is nice, take your workout outside, and make it a family event!  Go to the park, take a hike, play frisbee or ball, or ride bikes!  The point is to move and make it fun!

We’ll be at the park today, hiking!  See you outside!

Ok, for those of you stuck inside because of the cold weather – I’m in Texas where it’s warm this weekend – there are always home videos that your kids will probably love to follow along with while you workout.  Check out My Beach Body Site for some great home workouts, including P90X, Insanity, ChaLean Extreme, and the new Brazil Butt Lift.  There is also a Shaun T’s Kids Fit Club workout!

Turbo Kick & PiYo Classes

Please note, there will be NO Turbo Kick classes the week of February 8th!  Don’t forget to workout though…a week of no classes does not mean a week with no workout!  Try something new, workout with a friend, just DO something.  We’ll see you back at classes beginning February 15th!

Don’t forget to watch the calendar for the addition of PiYo classes!  They’ll be starting in March!

Workout clothes – Dull or Fun?

The Positives – Days 9-16

OK, so I didn’t post them every day, but I did think about them, and they are GOOD!  I had 7 awesome workouts (6 of them were Turbo Kick!), enjoying movie time on the couch with my family, a surprise chocolate milk shake dessert for dinner one night, time with friends, Bible-reading time, chats with my mom and sister, and probably a few more things that I can’t think of right now.

When you think of all of the positives in your life, it keeps you focuses on enjoying life.  Find The Positives in your life, and share them with those you love, and those you meet each day!
